Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple set-ups and short runs daily.
• Troubleshoot and adjust as needed.
• Load and edit programs; inspect parts per specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow PPE rules.
• Overtime up to 5 hours per week on a 4 PM – 12:30 AM schedule.

A Valve and fitting company, in Lincolnshire, IL, is looking for Experienced CNC machinists on 2nd shift. Monday - Friday.

Job Details

Salary: $25-30 hourly, depending on Experience.

$45,760 - $62,400 per year.

Shift: Second

Work hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

• Working on CNC Lathe and Swiss Machines
• able to do multiple set-ups and changeovers daily- short runs
• Troubleshoot/ Adjustments
• read blueprints/ Schematic specifications
• Steel , Aluminum, and other metals
• Perform stability study of gauges used, calipers, Micrometers
• Load and edit programs as needed
• Perform initial inspection when needed
• Maintain a clean work environment
• 4pm-12:30am, Monday- Friday
• Independently setup at least one type of CNC machine
• Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications
• Perform stability study of gauges used
• Load and edit programs as needed

• Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
• Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager
