Job summary

AAA USA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to support major manufacturing programs in Kinston, NC. You will set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts and parts to exact tolerances.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting tooling, performing measurements with machinist gauges, and maintaining equipment. Overtime and shift flexibility are required; relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, and a benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ machine operator experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Relocation to Kinston, NC may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts and maintain tolerances.
• Read blueprints, sketches and drawings to determine processes, tooling and setup requirements.
• Use machinist tools to inspect, assemble and verify finished components.
• Perform milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, deburring and fastening.
• Monitor quality and follow procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain lubrication and routine machine upkeep; move materials through production.
• Train and assist other employees as needed.

AAA USA is actively hiring experienced Machine Operators to support major manufacturing program. The Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to make parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Sets up and operates manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts while maintaining required tolerances and specifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to determine machining processes, tooling, and setup requirements.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and machinist tools to inspect, assemble, and verify finished components.
• Performs machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, deburring, and fastening.
• Monitors quality standards and follows manufacturing procedures to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Performs routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, coolant checks, and basic equipment upkeep.
• Moves materials and completed parts through the manufacturing process using assigned equipment.
• Supports team operations by training and assisting other employees as needed.
