Job summary

AAA USA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to support major manufacturing programs in North Carolina. The role involves setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce parts to exact tolerances, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality.

You will work with CNC and manual equipment, perform inspections, and assist with equipment maintenance. Relocation assistance is available for this long-term aerospace program.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ machine operator experience.
• Willingness to work any shift, including overtime.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
• Reads blueprints and interprets engineering drawings to determine tooling and setup.
• Uses precision measuring tools to inspect and verify components.
• Monitors quality standards and adheres to manufacturing procedures.
• Performs routine machine maintenance and upkeep.
• Moves materials and parts through the manufacturing process.
• Trains and assists team members as needed.

AAA USA is actively hiring experienced Machine Operators to support major manufacturing program. The Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to make parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Essential Job Functions

• Sets up and operates manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture precision parts while maintaining required tolerances and specifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to determine machining processes, tooling, and setup requirements.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and machinist tools to inspect, assemble, and verify finished components.
• Performs machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, deburring, and fastening.
• Monitors quality standards and follows manufacturing procedures to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Performs routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, coolant checks, and basic equipment upkeep.
• Moves materials and completed parts through the manufacturing process using assigned equipment.
• Supports team operations by training and assisting other employees as needed.
