Job summary

Oceaneering in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate production machines including lathes, mills, grinders and saws to produce parts to drawing specifications. This is an onsite role at our Houston facility with early shift hours.

The position requires reading drawings and GD&T as required, and performing in-process inspections when needed. Hours are 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential variations based on workload.

The primary responsibility of this position is to set up and operate production machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, saws. Machine materials to drawing specifications. Reads and interprets drawings and specifications, to include Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), as required.Perform in process inspections where required.

This position is an onsite position at our Houston, TX facility. The hours for this position are 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Hours can vary between 8 -12 hours per day based on workload/ business need).
