Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience setting and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machine tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Plusses:

• Experience with Fanuc, Citizen, and Mazatrol is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a range of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machine tools.
• Verify programs and settings using measuring equipment on first articles.
• Ensure component compliance with engineering drawings and quality procedures.
• Record daily operations and provide operational equipment effectiveness (OEE) results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the department.
• Maintain and improve time standards.
• Perform daily maintenance as required.
• Observe health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Day-to-Day:

As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up, optimizing, and operating various CNC machines. You'll review blueprints, program the machines, monitor their operation, and check the quality of parts using measuring tools. Routine maintenance and adherence to EH&S policies are also essential.

Compensation:

$22/hr to $27/hr. Exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
