Job summary

US Tech Force in Green Bay, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist for a growing custom machine shop. You will interpret client specifications, input them into CNC programs, set up the machines, and monitor performance on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a job shop, experience with VMCs or turning centers, basic programming, and proficiency reading blueprints. CAD/CAM software experience and a willingness to edit programs are a plus.

Job description

US Tech Force seeks a CNC Machinist for a growing custom machine shop in the Green Bay, WI area!

As a Machinist, you will interpret client specifications, enter them into the CNC machine, set up the machine and monitor it as it operates.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities

• Produce custom metal components to customer specifications.
• Set up, operate and run CNC machines.
• Ability to edit programs
• Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical issues

CNC Machinist Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent or post-secondary certification required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a job shop environment.
• Experience working on either VMCs or Turning Centers/Lathes
• Expertise with CNC calculating, computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
• Basic programming skills preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and part drawings.
