Job summary

SKL'D is seeking a CNC Machinist for a Loganville, GA operation to set up and operate CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints and use precision tools to produce parts meeting tight tolerances, independently when needed.

The role requires hands-on machining experience and strong blueprint reading abilities, with a focus on quality and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" with inch-to-decimal conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including digital/vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of dimensions and sizing of common structural steel.
• Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual CNC machines, including drill presses, lathes, and mills.
• Create, edit, and modify G&M code and Mazatrol programs to support progressive machining.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and ensure accurate part production.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance in compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify part accuracy.
• Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Job Summary

We are hiring a CNC Machinist for a client seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, hands‑on machining experience, and the ability to work independently to produce finished parts that meet production specifications.

• Set up and operate manual CNC machines, including drill presses, lathes, and mills
