Job summary

FLOWCO PRODUCTIONS LLC is looking for a qualified candidate for a 2nd shift CNC Machine Operator position in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, perform parts inspections, and use measuring tools effectively. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with CNC lathes and/or mills.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with HAAS machines and be able to solve practical problems independently. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Job description

Job Details: Job Location: TX-CLEBMFG – Ft Worth, TX 76134. This is a 2nd shift position. Applicants must be willing to work 2nd shift. Transitions to first shift are based on seniority, skill set and company business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform parts inspection, hold drawing tolerances and use measuring tools.
• Ensure correct material type and size used.
• Verifies conformance of finished work‑piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
• Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining, and adjusts controls or control media as required.
• Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, and keeps equipment in good condition.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Maintains a clean work environment – general housekeeping.

Requirements

• Must possess the ability to read and handle basic measuring equipment, i.e., OD/ID micrometers, calipers, depth gauge etc.
• Must be able to read prints/drawings.
• Must possess minimum computer skills.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Must have U.S. work authorization.
• Experience 2+ years on CNC Lathe and/or Mill machines.
• Experience with HAAS machines and/or Fanuc controls.
• Prefer ability to understand CNC programs.
• Prefer ability to run more than one machine at a time.
• Prefer 5+ years of multi‑axis experience.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with work objectives with limited supervision.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be willing to work 2nd shift after a training period on 1st shift.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 2+ years of CNC lathe and/or mill experience, required.
• 5+ years of multi‑axis experience, considered a plus.
• Experience with HAAS machines and/or CNC’s with Fanuc controls, preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, required.
• Ability to perform parts inspection, hold drawing tolerances and use measuring tools, required.
• Ability to solve practical problems, required.
• Ability to understand CNC programs, preferred.
