TRUMPF North America in Farmington, CT seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to set up large parts, machine weldments, and verify quality.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of CNC experience, read complex programs (G/M codes) and blueprints, and use gauges and micrometers. Strong teamwork and strict safety adherence are required.

Large parts machining supplies the assembly line with the highest quality parts on time while achieving expected productivity standards.

• 2nd Shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am

Duties And Responsibilities

• Setting up large parts for machining while maximizing machine utilization
• Quality control of weldments and machined parts
• Keeping work areas clean to company standard
• Following all safety procedures
• Working well in the team
• Documentation of various processes

Experience & Education

• 2-4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
• Relevant technical education is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
• Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
• Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
• Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
• Having great attention to quality

Pay Range: $26.15 - $43.22 plus shift deferential
