CNC Machinist opportunity at Triad Fabricators

Triad Fabricators, based in Evansville, Indiana, was formed by consolidating three legacy fabrication shops: Traylor Bros. (founded in 1946), Sterling Industrial (founded in 1982), and Traylor Industrial (founded in 1984).

Our focus is fabrication, which is what we do best, but as part of the Traylor Construction Group, we have the resources to see any project through from concept to completion. With both domestic and international experience, Triad has proven ability on a global scale.

General Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing various machining operations. Machinists are expected to complete their tasks on time with exceptional performance. This position must be committed to maintaining a safe work environment and embrace continuous improvement as we grow.

Although this position is primarily for day shift, applicants must have flexibility to support 2nd shift during temporary, high-volume projects.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate both vertical & horizontal CNC Mills and Lathes effectively.
• Make complex setups of parts to be machined.
• Understand and utilize technical plans and fabrication drawings.

Work Environment/Job Conditions

This job is performed in the fabrication shop/field. Work requires experience and confidence working in and around heavy equipment, systems, and conditions. Activities and responsibilities require sitting, frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and reaching. There may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
