JOB TITLE: CNC Lathe and Mills Machinist
LOCATION: Elyria, OH
SALARY : $24-$26 an hour based on experience
SHIFT : 1 ^st (Monday thru Thursday 6am-430pm.)( Must be available to work a half day or full day on Friday as needed.)
Temp to hire opportunity with the company.

As the CNC Lathe and Mills Machinist you would perform duties to operate CNC Lathes and Mills for production run 1 ^st piece for approval.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Able to operate CNC Lathe and Mills machines
• Knowledge and use of precision measuring instruments such as; calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, thread gages, go/no go gages, etc.
• Knowledge of reading drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Able to perform math calculations using fractions and decimals.
• Able to maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations, and take accurate measurements

Skills/Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Able to read blueprints, read GD&T, and use measuring gages.
• Experience with Siemen Controls a plus
• High School Diploma or GED. Schooling in CNC is a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
