Job summary

Luvata Ohio, Inc. in Delaware, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to support 2nd or 3rd shift operations. You will set up and adjust machines, read blueprints, and ensure high-quality parts through micrometer and gauge measurements.

Responsibilities include diagnosing simple problems, recording data, maintaining tooling and workspace, and assisting in training less skilled personnel. A clear safety mindset and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of Formed Products/Machine Operator experience.
• Ability to read, write, and compute basic math.
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operates and sets up machines to support production.
• Diagnoses and documents problems for engineering review.
• Records data to meet Data Collection requirements.
• Inspects quality with micrometers, gauges, and visuals.
• Maintains tooling and keeps the work area clean and safe.
• Trains less skilled personnel in department procedures.

To learn more about Luvata Ohio, please visit: www.luvata.com/ohio.We are currently looking for an individual to work 2nd or 3rd shift who is ambitious, enthusiastic, and committed.PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVEPerform all functions necessary for the successful operation of assigned machines, including set-ups, to assure efficiency and productivity in producing a high quality product.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOperates a variety of assigned machines in the Department.Must be able to efficiently make set-ups and tooling adjustments as required on assigned machines.Must be able to diagnose and document problem for evaluation by set-up and engineering personnel.Must be able to use mics; hand-held and/or automatic gauging equipment.Must be able to read and understand manufacturing routings. Understand and be able to record all data necessary to maintain the Data Collection requirements.Responsible for the quality of the product produced. Insures high-quality through visual inspection, tape measurement, micrometer measurements, and monitoring gauges during processing of material.Cleans and maintains tooling and machine in good condition.
