Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in CNC machining environment.
• Experience with machining stainless steels, tooling steels, aluminum, and plastics.
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and deburr parts for tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Implement daily and weekly maintenance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set-up and operation of 3 axis CNC milling machines.
• Staying on-task with little supervision.
• Make efficient use of machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and deburr parts to ensure they meet designed tolerances using proper measuring instruments.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
• Implement daily and weekly maintenance.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all manufacturing guidelines.

Skills and Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience operating 3 Axis CNC milling machines in a job shop/prototype environment.
• Experience in machining stainless steels, tooling steels, aluminum and plastics.
• Knowledge of tooling speeds & feeds, ability to adjust machine parameters in order to maintain high efficiency machining.
• Experience with reading and understanding CNC machine code, CAD/CAM programing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work on a wide variety of parts from simple to complex parts.
• Ability to read mechanical part and assembly schematics, good working knowledge of GD&T
• Strong knowledge of using measuring tools to meet tight tolerances.
