About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet exact specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with horizontal and vertical milling, programming at the machine, and a strong understanding of machining principles. Key Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to AWC prints and specifications.
2. Write and edit complex programs directly at the machine without supervision.
3. Run multiple machines and manage workloads efficiently.
4. Troubleshoot machining issues and assist with problem-solving.
5. Start and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations.
6. Complete setup sheets and maintain accurate production records.
7. Follow production schedules and ensure workflow efficiency.
8. Identify and suggest improvements to manufacturing processes.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10. Adhere to all quality and safety policies.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficient with horizontal and vertical mills (4-axis experience preferred).
• Familiarity with Mastercam programming software.
• Strong understanding of threads, GD&T, SFM, and IPT.
• Ability to adjust tools for optimal performance.
• Must have own tools, including measuring and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
