Job summary

Progress Rail Services Corp. in Cleveland, OH, is hiring a CNC Machine Operator to run machines in a steel production shop for railroad tracks and crossings. We offer 1st and 2nd shifts, starting pay of $25/hr with a $3 shift differential on 2nd shift after training on 1st shift.

Qualifications

We have an openings on 1st and 2nd shift. CNC Machine Operator pay starts at $25/hr. $3 shift differential on 2nd shift once training is complete on 1st shift.

Key Job Elements:

1st shift M-F 5 am to 1:30 pm

2nd shift M-TH 3pm to 1:30 am

All training is on first shift. Hourly rate is $25/hr.

Education / Training:

• HS Diploma or equivalent education and experience required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing and/or machine operator experience;
• Ability to multitask; work with minimal supervision;
• Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy;
• Must be able to read and use tape measure;
• Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices;
• Must be quality oriented and a team player;
• Must have complete understanding of safe work practices.
