Job summary

Gexpro Services in Broadview Heights, OH is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist to operate CNC machinery and produce metal parts to spec. You will load/unload parts, change tooling, read blueprints, and adjust settings for quality results.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and accurately.
• Load/unload parts, change tooling, adjust machine settings.
• Read blueprints and work orders; ensure parts meet specs.
• Measure parts with precision tools and document results.
• Set up mills/lathe fixtures and tools when required.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

We are seeking a dependable CNC Machinist will be responsible foroperatingCNC(ComputerNumericallyControlled)Machinerysafelyandaccuratelytoperformavarietyofoperationstoproducemetal various commonandezoticfor ourproductline.The employeewouldbe responsiblefor loading andunloadingmetalparts,changing tooling,readingandinterpretingdesignblueprints,andadjustingthemachine settingsfor theneededspecifications.

CNC Machinist General Responsibilities:

• Learntoreadworkorders and blueprints(materials,specifications,andgeometricdimensionsand tolerances) to machineproductsaccurately
• Assistin inspectionsofequipment, materials,andproducts
• Prepares andloadsraw materialsand parts onto themachines
• Monitors the machineswhilethey execute the tasks andmakesany necessary adjustments toproduceabetter result
• Choosing, changing,andloading the correct cutting toolsforthe job
• Learn to utilize precision measuring tools to inspect and measure products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly and meets quality standards
• Documents actions by completing production work orders
• Checks, cleans, andmaintainsmachinery daily to ensure functionality
• Capable of setting up mills and lathes by installing fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications is a plus

CNC Machinist Requirements

• Possess aHighSchoolDiploma orequivalent,certification ortechnicalschoolinMachining
• 1-2yearsofexperienceworking withCNCmachines orinamanufacturingplantpreferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Abletoreadandinterpretworkinstructions
• Fluentinboth written andspoken English
• Previous experiencewithlathes, mills,pressbreaks, plasmamachines,smallhandtools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solvingabilitiesare a plus
