ARCH Medical Solutions in Blandon, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce complex parts on multi-axis mills, turning centers, and Swiss lathes in a modern, temperature-controlled facility.

You will read blueprints, set up tooling, program or edit controls, inspect parts for tolerance, and ensure quality and safety standards while supporting a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. Opportunities for growth and mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes; setting up and programming is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints including GD&T tolerancing.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprint or job order for product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Select, position, and secure work piece; change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps.
• Inspect products during machining to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Observe machine operation and verify parts meet prints.
• Maintain equipment and report needed repairs.
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Description

Position Overview

As a CNC Machinist you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Mill or Lathe Machines.

We currently operate state-of-the-art:

• Multi-axis Mazak Mills
• Multi-axis Mazak Turning Centers
• Swiss Lathes

Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.
• Select, positions, and secure work piece (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps to maintain required part quality.
• Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet print specifications.
• Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements. Reporting need for machine repairs.
• Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes (experience preferred in setting up and programming/editing programs)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.

• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
