Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Lehigh Valley (Whitehall, PA) is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC equipment, load programs, adjust tooling, and inspect parts to ensure tolerances are met.

Work with 5-axis mills and Mazak centers in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment that prioritizes quality and continuous improvement. Opportunities for growth and mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience or progression from a CNC Operator role.
• Ability to perform basic machine set-ups and adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Proficient in using measuring tools to verify parts and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machine set-ups with guidance from Leads or Engineers
• Install and adjust tooling and fixtures to support production requirements
• Load and verify CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation
• Make basic adjustments to offsets, speeds, and feeds to maintain quality standards
• Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Interpret blueprints and job orders to meet dimensional and tolerance requirements
• Identify machining or quality issues and elevate as needed
• Accurately record production data and inspection results
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and meet production goals
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in producing high-quality precision components by setting up and operating CNC equipment.

This position builds on foundational machining experience and offers the opportunity to further develop your technical skills in machine setup, tooling, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience or progression from a CNC Operator role
• Ability to perform basic machine set-ups and adjustments
• Strong understanding of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and continue developing technical skills

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
