Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
- Perform in-process and final quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Safely handle, move, and position raw materials and finished parts using proper lifting techniques or mechanical aids.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Identify and promptly report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or any unsafe conditions.
- Adhere to all lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols during equipment troubleshooting or maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with basic G-code programming and CNC operation.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
