Urgently Hiring for a CNC Machinist I, NPD

Shifts Offered:

• 2nd Shift - 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• 3rd Shift - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Compensation:

• Pay Range $53,000 - $88,300 based on skill level and experience

The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries across all US locations. Individual pay within this range depends on skills, experience, and education. Compensation decisions are made based on individual circumstances.

Responsibilities

Job Functions:

1. Collaborate with Tool Design and Set-up teams to create G Code programs for Fanuc control CNC Mills, ensuring safe operation.
2. Set up and troubleshoot complex 2D and 3D tooling components, including cavity work, and communicate parameters effectively.
3. Coordinate workflow with R&D Shop Manager across milling platforms to meet project timelines.
4. Learn Mazak controls and 4th axis programming as needed.

Job Specifications

Education:

• High School Diploma required; higher education in machining or computer science preferred.

Work Experience:

• At least 10 years in CNC milling, especially 3D mold machining.
• Minimum 5 years in off-line programming with CAM software like DelCam PowerMill, MasterCam, or SurfCam.
• Experience with 3D mold and thermoform tooling preferred.

Skills and Training:

• Proficiency in PC-based CAM programs for complex 3D work.
• Familiarity with Delcam PowerMill or MasterCam preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD programs such as SolidWorks, Pro E, or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Other Requirements:

• Proven record of machining complex parts, including 3D molds.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
