Job summary

Employ-Temps seeks a skilled CNC Machine Operator in Kent, Ohio, to set up and operate CNC turning centers and mills. You will inspect parts for quality, adjust machine settings, and ensure efficient production on-site for a reputable, family-owned manufacturing team.

Ideal candidates have CNC experience, ability to read drawings and use measurement tools, and a strong focus on safety and accuracy. 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Mon–Fri; $20–$25 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC certification a plus.
• Prior experience operating CNC machines, turning center experience preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and gauges; inspection equipment experience is a major plus.
• Comfort inspecting parts for quality and tolerance accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers to produce precision parts.
• Set up tools and fixtures; adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Load or edit programs using G & M Code.
• Keep work area clean and follow PPE and safety guidelines.
