Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Technician for 3rd shift with a $2k signing bonus. You will set up and operate CNC centers, independently change tooling and offsets, and troubleshoot Siemens- and Fanuc-controlled equipment to maintain tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, GD&T, and use precision measurement tools. Must be 18+, English proficient, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, incl. turning, grinding, and heat-treating equipment.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and first-piece validations.
• Independently change tooling, inserts, and offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor performance and adjust tooling as needed for quality.
• Troubleshoot CNC systems (Siemens, Fanuc) and resolve issues.
• Read blueprints and process documents to ensure conformance.
• Inspect parts with precision measurement tools and record results.
• Support 5S and safety initiatives on the line.
• Train entry-level operators as needed.
