Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics, based in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, is seeking a hands-on CNC Machining Technician for the 2nd shift to produce high-precision parts using Fanuc-controlled centers. Youll set up machines, perform basic to intermediate setups, inspect parts with precision tools, and support continuous improvement while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience operating CNC machines (turning, grinding, or similar).
Able to read, write and speak English.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls and machining cells.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including turning and grinding.
Perform basic to intermediate machine setups, tooling adjustments and offsets.
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and document results per process sheets.
Maintain quality standards and SOPs; troubleshoot minor issues and support continuous improvement.
Train and support entry-level operators as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe workstation following 5S standards.
