Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machining Specialist for the night shift. You’ll set up and run lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment, performing sanding and finishing to tight tolerances.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years machining experience, and CNC programming or setup skills. Pay is $19/hour, weekly, with Sunday–Thursday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and a lunch break.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years machining experience preferred.
• Experience as CNC Machinist or similar role would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of machining processes and equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual equipment: lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, welders.
• Perform sanding, deburring, finishing per specs.
• Inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Communicate observations and suggest process improvements.

As part of the PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. team supporting a global leader in industrial automation, software, and engineering services, you’ll keep production moving while the world sleeps.Your Shift & PaySchedule: 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM (with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)Pay: $19.00 per hour, paid weeklyA Night in the LifeAt 11:00 PM, you review the job travelers and head to your first setup. You bring CNC and conventional equipment online—lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses—and, when needed, welders. As parts come off the machines, you sand, deburr, and finish them to spec. You adjust feeds and speeds, choose the right tooling, and set coolant flow to protect surface integrity. Each run ends with a careful inspection to confirm every dimension meets quality standards. Before you clock out, your area is clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
