General Dynamics - Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks an NC Miller #1 for the 2nd shift in Saco, ME. The role focuses on operating and setting up multiaxis CNC machining centers to perform a range of metalworking tasks per specs and quality documents.

The position requires familiarity with CNC controls, tool wear considerations, and precision setup. It is an on-site, full-time role offering a competitive hourly wage and benefits as described in the posting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Over four years' experience with CNC milling and related controls.
• Knowledgeable about computerized CNC control systems and tool wear.
• Proficient in keyboard and control panel operation; able to interpret process sheets.

Mansioni

• Operate and set up multi-axis NC/CNC milling centers.
• Perform milling, facing, threading, drilling, reaming, and profiling as required.
• Follow directives, military specs, quality documents, and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping; ensure machine is in proper working order.
• May operate welding machines or robots as needed.
