Job summary

Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking a skilled Technician to operate and set up machining centers, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment to keep production on schedule. You will read blueprints, follow maintenance instructions, and work with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues promptly.

The role requires strong hand-tool proficiency, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to train new employees while maintaining high safety standards on the manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with hand tools and measuring devices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving with fixtures/clamps.
• Strong machine systems knowledge and diagnostics.
• Read and understand maintenance and repair instructions.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic math skills for measuring equipment.
• Safety-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machining centers as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Train new employees on operation of equipment.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Support adherence to the production schedule and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
