Job summary

CPV in Kennett Square, PA, is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC machines for machined parts. The role requires reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and recording operational data in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 6:30am - 3:15pm with occasional Saturdays. You will measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure tolerances are met, perform deburring and washing as needed, and maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and precision in all tasks
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Proficient use of measuring tools to verify tolerances
• Understanding of tolerance and part requirements
• Ability to identify lathe tools and drills
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety rules
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints
• Operate CNC machines and monitor their operations
• Inspect parts and adjust as needed to meet quality specs
• Measure completed work using micrometers/calipers
• Deburr and wash parts as required
• Maintain and lubricate machines; keep area clean
• Follow OSHA and company safety rules
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Perform other duties as assigned
