Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is hiring an Assembly Technician to prepare and machine engine blocks and heads per drawings. You will operate CNC machines, verify parts meet quality standards, and follow documented instructions in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, familiarity with metrology tools, and preference for NIMS certification. PSI offers comprehensive benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; ability to apply math and read diagrams.
• NIMS or equivalent certification; may substitute for experience.
• CNC machining, automotive assembly, or high-volume manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to perform precision machining.
• Verify finished parts against drawings and quality standards.
• Follow procedures for tool setup, process verification, and documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance per checklists.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed and observe safety procedures.
• Adhere to safety rules and use PPE properly.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
