Job summary

DJS Manufacturing seeks a Machining Apprentice to support the shop while building a career in machining. You will work with experienced machinists and receive hands-on training in CNC operation, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and quality inspection. The role supports an apprenticeship program with company backing for schooling and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education a plus.
• Technical education, shop coursework, or machine tool coursework is a plus.
• CNC or machine operation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate CNC machine tools safely.
• Read blueprints and specifications; use precision measuring tools.
• Inspect parts for dimensions and quality.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and maintain academic progress.
