Indian Creek Fabricators in Tipp City, OH is seeking a CNC Machining Apprentice. You will receive hands-on training from experienced machinists and work on CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints, and learning basic programming.

No prior experience is required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are valued. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, with pay starting at $20/hour and raises as you gain skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes on various projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand job requirements.
• Assist with basic CNC programming and editing tasks.
• Measure and inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following shop protocols.
• Support general shop operations and develop practical machining skills.
• Work with experienced machinists for hands-on training and mentorship.

• Learn to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes on a variety of projects
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand job requirements
• Assist with basic CNC programming and editing tasks
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following shop safety protocols
• Support general shop operations and develop practical machining skills through hands-on experience
• Work directly with experienced machinists for one-on-one training and mentorship

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and build a career in CNC machining
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts
• Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
• No prior experience required; shop class or hands-on mechanical experience is a plus

Compensation

Starting at $20 per hour, with opportunities for raises as new skills are acquired.
