Job summary

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) seeks an experienced Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at NUWC Keyport. Strong CNC maintenance and repair experience, especially with HAAS machines, is a top priority.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical/electrical diagnostics, and maintaining records in a Navy/DoD environment. Applicants should have at least three years of industrial maintenance, be able to read mechanical drawings, and operate a 6,000 lb

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' experience maintaining industrial equipment.
Experience diagnosing, dismantling, repairing, reassembling, testing, and adjusting industrial machinery.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
Licensed to operate 6,000 lb electric and diesel forklift.
Must pass occupational and explosives physical examinations.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Preventive and corrective maintenance including inspections, lubrication, component replacement, testing, and operational checks.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems to return equipment to safe operation.
Read and interpret manuals, mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Identify replacement parts and coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and outside shops as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety, Navy, and DoD requirements.
