Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking experienced CNC machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts at multiple companies in the Syracuse and Kirkville areas. Pay starts at $17+ per hour, DOE, with either M-F or M-TH schedules depending on the company.

Shifts run 1st and 2nd, with training on 1st shift for Kirkville postings. Responsibilities include programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and using micrometers and gauges.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC operation and setup experience.
• Prior CNC programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Skilled with micrometers and gauges for measurement.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
• Oversee daily maintenance of machines.

Remedy Staffing is currently looking for 1st & 2nd shift Machinists at multiple companies.

Position: Machinist

Pay: $17+ (DOE)

Hours: Depending on company

Days: Depending on company (either M-F or M-TH)

Shifts: 1st & 2nd

Locations available: Syracuse (1st and 2nd shifts are available) and Kirkville (Kirkville positions you must be able to train on 1st shift)

Responsibilities may include:

• Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers and gauges
• Ability to inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Oversee daily maintenance of machines.

What you need to succeed:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use and understand a variety of gauges
• Mathematical skills
• Prior CNC operation, set up, and experience is required
• Prior programming experience is preferred
