Job summary

TrueNorth Steel is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Fargo, ND. This full-time position offers a 6:00 am–4:30 pm shift Monday–Thursday, with Friday mornings and potential OT. Pay rate is $21.42–$23.00+ per hour (DOE) plus a full benefits package.

The role starts as a trainee under supervision, focusing on safe operation and learning machine capacities. Responsibilities include safe operation of machinery, material identification, tool care, and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating the machine.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Able to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
• Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate, with supervision, at least one major piece of equipment and learn machine capacities.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with established procedures.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of material identification.
• Promote safety and housekeeping; ensure dependable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
