Job summary

Qualdoc in Cocoa Beach, FL is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain equipment used in structural steel fabrication. You will run CNC plasma tables or saw/drill/cut operations on steel and ensure part measurements align with drawings.

Experience with Kinetic Plasma Table, Peddinghaus lines, or Ficep Beamline is a plus; candidate must read tapes, blueprints, and symbols, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot or cold shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a CNC plasma table or performing sawing, drilling, or cutting.
• Ability to read blueprints, symbols, and technical notes.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately within 1/16 inch.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience safely operating overhead cranes and material transfer/conveyor systems.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods in a hot or cold shop environment.
• Tekla PowerFab experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/hour + $3.00/hour night shift differential

Position Overview

We are hiring a CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain equipment used in structural steel fabrication. Candidates should have experience operating CNC plasma tables or machinery used for sawing, drilling, and cutting steel.

Experience with one or more of the following machines is preferred: Kinetic Plasma Table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, or Ficep Beamline.

The role also involves using overhead cranes, marking fabricated parts, reading measurements, and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
