Job summary

Staffmark in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a CNC Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and adjust CNC lathes and mills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, perform inspections with precision tools, and maintain production records to ensure quality and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of CNC experience; technical training is a plus. The role offers steady hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC operation experience.
• Ability to read work instructions and production schedules.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to monitor equipment.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools
• Ability to adjust machine offsets as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills according to engineering drawings and production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions to ensure part conformance.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes throughout production runs.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.
• Use hand tools and perform deburring as required.
• Work closely with CNC Specialists and Production Manager to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members
