Job summary

Express Employment International is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator/Shop Associate in Mill Creek, WA. You will load and operate CNC machines, follow work instructions, and support general shop operations.

The role requires setting up 3-axis vertical CNC mills, inspecting parts with micrometers, calipers and height gauges, performing in-process checks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–3:30PM, $23–$25/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Experience setting up 3-axis vertical CNC milling machines preferred
• CNC lathe experience is a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Load and operate CNC machines per work instructions
• Set up and run 3-axis vertical CNC milling machines
• Follow work instructions to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and verify specifications
• Perform in-process quality checks and ensure finished parts meet specs
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and troubleshoot machining issues
• Deburr parts during machine run time
• Handle materials and perform general shop duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with additional shop tasks as required

Job Details

This position is responsible for loading and operating CNC machines, following work instructions, and supporting general shop operations as needed.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous CNC or manufacturing experience, though candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Follow work instructions to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and troubleshoot machining issues to bring parts back within specifications
• Deburr parts as needed during machine run time
