Qualifications

• CNC experience of at least a couple of years.
• Experience with caliper, micrometers, off-sets, touch-offs, height gauge, depth and ID micrometer, slant gauges.
• Excellent work history.
• Translate into machine set-up.
• Move machine control to adjust machine.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.
• Set up, machine tools.
• Set up and operate another machine tool during machining cycles.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment necessary to machine component parts.
• Set up and operate computer numerical control machines by programming control instructions into machine control units.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate parts to specifications.
• Read and interpret machine parts drawing specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and maximize machining capabilities.
• Start machine and observe cutting operations.
• Inspect parts as they exit the machine.
• Sharpen tools and set up tooling.
• Determine accuracy of machine operations.
• Produce parts within required tolerances.
