Job summary

NSK Americas, Inc. is seeking a CNC machinist for 1st shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday).

The ideal candidate has several years of CNC experience and can translate drawings into machine setups, adjust controls, and operate lathes and milling machines to produce parts to tight tolerances. Candidates should be proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height and depth gauges, gauge blocks) and demonstrate excellent work history.

Qualifications

• CNC experience of at least a couple of years.
• Willing to advance into a machinist role.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent work history and reliability.
• Able to translate drawings into machine setups.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts for tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes and milling machines.
• Program and adjust CNC controls; start and monitor cuts.
• Select tooling and fixtures for machines.
• Inspect parts after machining for conformance.
• Keep machine, tooling and parts clean and organized.
