Job summary

Fleece Performance Engineering is seeking a full-time CNC Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain CNC equipment. You will read engineering drawings, perform tool changes, inspect parts with metrology tools, and complete production documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to delivering quality parts on spec. Experience with Swiss lathe operations and CNC equipment is a plus; candidate must be able to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience operating & setting up Swiss lathe equipment is a plus
• Experience with CNC machines (Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, Dual Spindle Lathe) is a plus
• Familiarity with G&M code programming is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate & maintain machines, loading stock, managing fluids, & chip removal
• Perform setups & tooling changes to ensure continuous part conformance
• Operate CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, & band saws as needed
• Read & interpret engineering drawings to produce quality parts to specification
• Inspect finished parts using metrology tools to ensure quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation for all jobs
• Troubleshoot machine issues & assist other operators with technical challenges
• Help train team members on Swiss lathe operation and setup
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
• Perform other duties as assigned
