Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. seeks a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to produce sheet metal parts, set up and align parts per shop prints, and work either individually or in small teams on metal buildings and enclosures.

Applicants should have 2+ years CNC experience, forklift certification, blueprint reading skills, and strong attention to detail. A high school diploma is preferred. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two plus years of CNC experience required.
• Two plus years of forklift operation experience required.
• Two plus years of experience with basic hand tools.
• Two plus years of experience in QA procedures (QAPs) required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32 inch.
• Ability to read decimals and fractions on measurements.

Responsibilities

• Consult blueprints, work orders, and schematics to construct structures.
• Load, set up, and calibrate accessories, and program the CNC machine.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions.
• Measure parts and verify conformance to specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform routine maintenance.
• Notify lead or inspector when product is ready for inspection.
