Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience operating machines in a machine shop or similar setting.
• Technical degree or training in machine operation is desirable; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret metric and English measurements; strong math skills preferred.
• Willingness to learn various tooling and maintain manufacturing specs.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime as needed; excellent attendance and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity to standards.
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and report issues to the set‑up team.
• Maintain continuous production runs to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Read shop orders and prints to meet part specifications.
• Take precise measurements with gauges to verify dimensions.
• Assist with process improvements to support Lean initiatives.
