Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Fargo, ND is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the night shift to run and supervise basic machining tasks on key equipment. Training is provided as a trainee position with supervision from the Shop Supervisor or senior Operators.

Position offers a 4:00 pm–2:30 am shift, with overtime as needed and a competitive pay rate plus shift differential and full benefits. Prior experience is not required, and strong safety and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation.
• Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
• Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Read and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, with supervision, at least one major piece of equipment; learn routine tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and JSA compliance.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of material identification and measurement.
• Promote safety and housekeeping; ensure punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION: CNC Machine Operator - Night Shift

SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am; (OT as needed)

PAY RATE: $21.42 - 23.00+ per hour (DOE) + $2 shift differential pay + Full Benefits Package

LOCATION:Fargo, ND

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machine Operator1is a trainee position, with all work being completed with varying levels of supervision from theShop Supervisoror Machine Operator 2or3.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
