Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced OD Machine Operator for a precision grinding company in Addison, IL. The ideal candidate will operate manual and CNC OD grinding machines, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.

Schedule: Monday–Friday. Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Start times include 4:00 AM, 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, and 7:00 AM. This role requires safety and quality compliance and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and CNC OD grinding machines.
• Able to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC, N/C, and manual OD grinding machines
• Set up and operate grinding equipment according to job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings
• Verify finished-part dimensions using: Micrometers
• Dial indicators
• Gauge blocks
• Calipers
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications
• Monitor machine performance and production rates
• Identify and report safety, quality, machine, or productivity issues
• Complete production and inspection paperwork accurately
• Follow all company safety procedures and standard operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Schedule: Monday–FridayPay:$18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Available Start Times:4:00 AM–12:30 PM
• 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
• 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
