McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. is actively seeking a Machine Operator who will program, set up, and operate a variety of CNC machines including laser, plasma, shear, and more to produce parts in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, ensuring tolerances, and adhering to safety and quality standards. A minimum of six months in a related role and hands-on experience with fabrication tools is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of applicable position experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Ability to use, read, and understand general tools used in fabrication (tape measure, protractor, calipers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Read drawings to ensure parts produced within tolerance using measuring devices.
• Maintain quality and safety standards while operating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Use of basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, pry bars, grinders, magnets, pliers).
• Operate lifting devices (vac lift, overhead, gantry, jib cranes) with material weights up to 10,000 lbs.
