Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and production reporting.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual plasma cutting equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Select materials, consumables, and cutting parameters.
• Verify material type, thickness, and dimensions before cutting.
• Load and unload materials using material handling equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain production records and time worked.
• Identify and report quality concerns or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, welding and production staff to meet schedules.
• Keep work area clean per 5S standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
