Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a CNC Machinist to support the production of architectural glass and building products. You will generate part programs, set up and run CNC equipment, adjust speeds and feeds, and ensure parts meet dimensional specs.

You will load/unload, inspect, and optimize machining processes while following safety practices. This role offers a stable, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Generate part programs that meet production objectives.
• Set up and run CNC equipment to produce parts.
• Organize and optimize machining processes to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional inspection of product as required.
• Monitors and changes cutting tools as needed.
• Loads and unloads products.
• Ensures correct orientation of product in machinery.
• Enters and updates programs in computer memory.
• Adjusts feed rate and speed based on material and setup.
• Retrieves stored data and programs as needed.
• Reviews shop orders and drawings to determine job specs.
