Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Operator I for the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 9:30p–5:45a) at its New Hampshire facility.

This entry-level role uses automated and manual CNC equipment to produce low to medium complexity components and supports primary and secondary operations in a team environment. Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to read drawings and work instructions in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Typically requires 90 days as a CNC Trainee or 1 year CNC Operator experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Some experience reading drawings is helpful.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Must convey ideas clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Load parts and operate a minimum of one type of CNC equipment.
• Complete all processes, checklists and procedures as required.
• Identify tools and tool holders per process documentation.
• Troubleshoot with assistance and escalate issues to lead or supervisor.
• Perform inspection measurements per quality control plans using hand tools.
• Read CMM and equator reports and adjust parts accordingly.
• Participate in 5S and keep the area organized.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
