Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s McNeilus division in Riceville, IA is seeking Assemblers to operate CNC machines, laser and plasma cutting, and related fabrication processes. Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.48 per hour based on experience, with a $2/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Applicants should be detail oriented, able to read drawings, and comfortable using calipers, protractors, tape measures and other measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Detail orientation and ability to read shop drawings and specifications.
• High School Diploma or GED required; CNC/fab shop exposure preferred.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and basic hand tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, laser/plasma cutting, and related equipment.
• Read drawings to ensure parts produced within tolerance using calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Use basic hand tools and lifting devices to handle materials up to 10,000 lbs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during production.
