Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in Graniteville, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for off-shift hours (7:30pm–6am). Training on day shift for two weeks is provided, with overtime as needed. You will operate CNC HELLER centers with Siemens 840D controllers to produce engine components.

Required is a mechanical/machining background; associate degree preferred, or 3 years heavy-duty machining. The role includes setup, measurement and quality checks, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and relocation

• 2 years in a mechanical or machining trade school or an Associate’s Degree; or 3 years in a heavy-duty machining environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Basic interpretation of instructions, routings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with SPC and measurement tools is a plus.

We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.”Preferred Requirements:Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (preferred SIEMENS 840 D Controllers) machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceIntermediate knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applicationsBasic ability to interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and operate scanning devices for system communicationsBasic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods (Quality Alerts, Second Checks, etc.)Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standardsMental & Physical Requirements :The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
