Rolls-Royce is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for off-shift hours in Aiken, SC. The role involves operating HELLER CNC centers with Siemens 840D controllers, performing precision machining to blueprints and routings, and ensuring strict quality control.

Training will be provided on day shift for two weeks. The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, overtime as needed, and relocation assistance if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and specialized tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Check precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and adjust according to quality control plans.

We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.”Preferred Requirements:Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (preferred SIEMENS 840 D Controllers) machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceIntermediate knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applicationsBasic ability to interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and operate scanning devices for system communicationsBasic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods (Quality Alerts, Second Checks, etc.)Basic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standardsMental & Physical Requirements :The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
